Remember the days before you were glued to your phone, tablet, computer, video games, and Netflix account? Yeah, so do I, they were what made us human. Go out for some fresh air, go for a hike, go for a swim, canoe with your pals. Trust me once you do, you will develop a sense of euphoria that you can’t get from your Instagram likes. I was out in nature last week, and I was so infatuated by the scenery of just plain tree’s! Can you believe how pathetic that sounds? Working at a phone company my head is in technology all day, as-well as being a full time student with studying/reading; I haven’t had time to utilize my adventurous side. Enjoy this beautiful planet we call Earth, and stop being a Robot!

I read an article the other day about how American children are loosing their cognitive ability to be creative and adventurous because their minds are so intertwined to technology that everyone is the same. The days for kids playing in tree houses and enjoying nature has eradicated. Now instead of asking their moms if they can go hiking with Tommy and the boys until 8pm has changed to asking if they can buy the new Call of Duty game and play online with the 35-year-old guy in his parent’s basement in Romania. We spend our whole lives just going, and going, and going…maybe its time for us to stop and smell the roses so to speak.
